Test drive a cool new electric vehicle (EV) at the July 9 FLOW event…

TEDxHonolulu’s Sustainability Team has partnered with Blue Planet Foundation’s Clean Transportation Team to let you test drive electric vehicles at our next event!

 TEDx EV test Drive

Sustainability Curator Justine Espiritu tells us more:

You know that driving an electric vehicle is good for the environment, but have you felt the FLOW of actually driving one yet?

Hawaii’s predominantly flat terrain and our short driving distances make our islands a great place to drive an electric vehicle. Running off of electricity, EV’s eliminate carbon emissions and reduce our island’s dependency on imported oil. EV technology and options have come a long way over the past couple years. Blue Planet Foundation will be on hand to educate us on the latest developments and models, and letting you take a spin in one yourself!!
